PROBLEMeBay is based on the principle "offer-search-find-buy" - but what if I ...... don't really have time to search?... can't find the item because of spelling mistakes in the listing?... am looking for a service and want to compare prices/services?SOLUTION APPROACHAs a user, I can post a "request" (looking for item "xyz" or looking for service "zyx") and don't have to keep searching on eBay repeatedly and time-consumingProviders can submit an offer with services, which I as the seeker can compare and then accept or reject

Hello @t.o.g.o and thank you for your suggestion! We understand the idea behind a "wanted" function. However, eBay is intentionally based on the principle Offer – Search – Find – Buy. Our business model is that sellers list offers and buyers discover them through search, filters, and categories.

An additional wanted function would represent a different model - more in the classifieds area. We once had exactly that with a former subsidiary in the portfolio, but eBay is not intended for that today.

So that you don't have to keep searching again and again, eBay.de offers the option to set up saved searches:

You enter your desired search criteria once (e.g. item name, category, price range, location filter).
You can save this search using the 💙 icon and access it again at any time via saved searches.
If you want, you will be automatically notified by email or in the eBay app as soon as new items are listed that match your criteria.

This saves you time and still gives you the relevant results, without you having to post a listing yourself.

I hope this will take a little work off your hands in the future 🙂.
