new search function in your own shop = catastrophe
I searched here for existing topics, but didn’t find anything.
Ebay service right now is ...well... phone systems "Error"... they call back and you hear nothing. 3 out of 4 calls.

For years I had this link as a tab to search my listings and to find everything too.
Makes sense when you have the same item in single, combo, and multi-quantity listings with variations

There you could also search your items by term in the description. Boom, everything was shown.
now: title, SKU, item number....

and Ebay, have you ever thought about the fact that you also have multi-quantity listings? 100 items in one listing! do 100 items fit in a title so you can search for them???
That means multi-quantity listings are no longer shown here unless the search term is in the title!

how do I find an item now that is back in stock in the warehouse, whose quantity should be updated, and that is listed in 3-4 multi-quantity listings - there with quantity 0???

The search for items by seller. At least finds them in descriptions!
But not single listings with no stock
Yay, search twice, for something that used to work once...THANKS FOR THAT!!!
So save 2 tabs:
-active listings; sorted by quantity (what used to be enough to then search there) with search by title, so no multi-quantity listings visible
-search by title and description via seller; stock 0 only possible for multi-quantity listings
the other one -> search in shop view, no display of listings with quantity 0 <-- that one is included in the seller search
or keep everything in your head. But that’s not the point

yes, for about 2 weeks now the search has been working again like it used to, but with a new bug too:
ä, ö, ü and ß - it no longer recognizes the spelling - you now have to search using ae - so Baender instead of Bänder
But the bug has already been reported and passed on

I never wrote anything about an error.
I’m aware that that’s how it’s intended...
And that’s criticism of it... because unfortunately it’s absolutely a ridiculously stupid change.
How can you make the search function so utterly pointless when you offer multi-item listings, where the terms being searched for definitely don’t fit in the title.
You can’t do anything about that, @steffi...That happened somewhere up at eBay. some out-of-touch weirdos who have no clue about their own system
