Only 100 "saved searches" possible.
Of course it’s easier to use the function mentioned in the subject instead of daily search requests in order to receive email notifications.
Now I’ve reached 100, and it says “maximum number reached” or something like that.
Somehow it reminds me of the Stone Age of the internet, when a 1GB hard drive was the absolute bomb.
So my question to the eBay team is whether this limit of 100 searches actually makes sense or whether “the guys” simply forgot to remove this restriction from the 90s?

·1 year agoWhy don't you just add the additional desired searches to your wife’s / girlfriend’s / deceased great-aunt’s eBay account? Then you’ll have room for 100 more search alerts

Hello @bigzmej! As you’ve already noticed, only 100 saved search queries and saved sellers can be stored together. With watch lists, however, up to 100 lists can be created and up to 300 items can be added per list, @perfect-sally.
I’m happy to pass along your request to increase the limit for saved search queries, but so far this doesn’t seem to be a common request, which means the internal prioritization of this suggestion may be pushed further down the line.
In the meantime, you could get around this with a second eBay account, with which you can also save 100 searches again; however, when registering you have to use a different email address and will therefore receive the email notifications at another address. Maybe that would still be a practical solution for you so you don’t miss any offers? 🙂

You can add up to 500 items to your watchlist. That way you don’t have to worry about losing track of individual items. You are not obligated to buy items from your watchlist. But keep in mind that other members can buy the items you’re watching at any time.
If it’s only 300, then that should also be changed in the eBay help.

Watchlists and "saved searches", which @bigzmej is referring to here, are two different things.

·1 year agoYour comparison is flawed! How many users do you think eBay has? And if each of those users had 100 items on the watchlist, what do you think that would add up to in terms of data volume.
And besides, eBay says:

If that's the case with the 500 items, then it's probably on you if you can't add any. Cleared the cache and deleted cookies? Tried another browser?
