Price suggestions
Hi,
is there an option (via the app or on the PC) that allows GVK to enter a quantity for price suggestions? Have we missed something?
Because potential buyers can enter a quantity with price suggestions.
It would be more than useful for GVK to have this option too, because then you can make potential customers a better offer directly. After all, offering a volume discount is always better than it saying: quantity 1
Is there anything on this topic? Is this perhaps supposed to be implemented? If not, it would be good if this were passed on to the relevant people.
Bye and see you.

OP1 year agoHi,
@miriam@ebay Thanks, but the link to the thread is a different one than the one you linked. But I found the one you mean. That's exactly what this is about.
It would be a real help for us if something like this were introduced soon.
Because we can't see who receives the price suggestion with quantity 1. When we then send someone a price suggestion, we can't write to the customer because we don't have any way to contact them or any contact details. We can hardly write in every price suggestion: "Nice that you are interested in our products. Save on shipping when buying multiple items. To do that, let the price suggestion expire and then make one yourself with your desired quantity."
Sounds more than mediocre and the 200 characters aren't enough for that either. The idea of coordinating is all well and good but not feasible.
Ebay has to do something about this because as it is right now, it's not usable, but there is an idea for it.
The idea includes 2 variants:
1. Sellers can't send price suggestions, but can only write to the potential buyer (they are initially kept anonymous so that shady sellers can't abuse this) to ask whether they are interested and thereby initiate the sale.
2. We get the option to specify a quantity when we send price suggestions to potential buyers.
These are the ways a merchant or businessperson acts. Anything that is always done on the fly or is supposed to be done because there are no properly developed options available is not really how things work and are practiced in the business world.
Bye and see you.

Hello @myeatnordic am I right in understanding that you have the same suggestion as @gebraucht-ist-gut here?
Best regards
