Problems with sorting
I noticed today that there are problems with sorting again.
If I have set all the filters in a category and then set the sorting, e.g. by lowest price, all the filters disappear again. If I set them again, the sorting is gone....

·6 months agoFor me, the sorting from new to old isn’t working. Also, the eBay website and app are extremely slow and are throwing error messages. I think eBay has been having technical problems for a few hours now

do you use the browser or the app?
When I search for certain Herpa airplanes in the browser, I get 1400+ results:
If I then change the display to "Lowest price ...", I also get 1400+ results and all filters stay applied:
Do you have an example where it doesn't work in the browser?
Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the app, since I don't use it.

OP6 months agoOk, I tested it again and have to correct myself a bit. It happens when searching for wiper blades; everything gets reset when I specify/select a certain vehicle (then everything as described above).

·6 months agoI’ve had it for as long as I can remember (I noticed it with the last two searches, just yesterday again) in the Android app on my smartphone that it doesn’t support multiple filters - meaning, one is fine, but as soon as more are added, the first filter is lifted too ... sorting, e.g. cheapest, works additionally though - on the tablet under Android everything seems to be fine as well (although there are still differences when placing bids there too, prices with commas aren’t possible on the smartphone)

If I search for windshield wipers in the auto parts category and want to set the sorting beforehand, I use the advanced search and set the sorting there:

If I now add a vehicle, the sorting stays the same:

Then try, as described, using the advanced search to set the sorting first. And then set the filters in the results list.
I "unfortunately" can't look at your monitor, and to be honest, I don't want to.

OP6 months agoThe problem with this is that you have to enter the designation. As you can see in the 2nd screenshot, though, it’s called Wischblatt, Wischblätter or Scheibenwischer, etc. Then instead of 1000 items, you suddenly only have 60. It would be pretty cumbersome to try out all possible designations like that.

since I’ve never searched in that area myself, I can’t judge whether it would help. But maybe you can narrow down the category you’re looking for further, e.g. to wiper blades and rubber.
