Via eBay, you can use your customers' alias email address to send the generated PDF invoice. In addition, there are external order fulfillment and established accounting programs that can create and send e-invoices. Your wish for automated invoice transmission via eBay is known internally, and I’m happy to pass on your feedback once again.
eBay is closely following all developments around the legal changes to electronic invoicing in Germany. Throughout 2025, all eBay sellers will continue to receive their invoices in the usual way. If there are changes at a later date, eBay will provide timely information about all updates on this topic.
In the meantime, we recommend that all business sellers seek advice from their tax advisor or their responsible tax office on whether and how they may be affected by the German regulations on electronic invoicing. You are also welcome to get information on the topic from your local Chamber of Industry and Commerce. For example, you can find information from the Darmstadt Chamber of Industry and Commerce here.

OP1 year agoI guess for me eBay is the problem, an automatic forwarding
of an invoice
in the shop system
should just work.
Not just PDF, but also the new EU rules with e-invoices.
