Sorting of articles isn't working properly
I collect several different decorative figurines. As an example, I’ll enter an elephant in the search. Then go to Furniture & Living > Decoration > Figures, Sculptures & Statues. Then I filter > Buy It Now, Condition - new, Item location - Germany. 1,600+ results are shown and the sorting is set to "Best Match". But I want to change the sorting to "Lowest price incl. shipping" After that, only 767 results are shown!

Hello @dorie-333! It is intended that when filtering by "Best results", you usually find all, or at least most, offers for your search term.
When sorting by lowest price, not all offers are shown, but rather the offers with the lowest price. The same applies to "Ending soon" and "Newly listed". You’re looking for a certain range of items, not all of them. We currently don’t see any need for optimization here.

Are "Best", "Lowest" etc. now filters or sortings?
Sorting should NOT be a filter, but sorting (price, alphabet, etc.). Those are two different things, except on eBay?

Hello @geldschinder! Would you like to name sample article numbers where you noticed that, in your opinion, they should still appear in the search results under the sorting "Price ascending", but are no longer visible to you?

·1 year agoIf I search ESC in records, singles, all listing formats, only Germany - lowest price, I get 60 offers and as the first offer 127040501899. Only when I then click the point show more offers do I get 116 items and as the first 3 offers the cheaper items

If I sort by "Lowest price incl. shipping first", it can’t be found at all. It should be the third one, right after two that are used and therefore cheaper.

·1 year agoHello, unfortunately your answer is not quite correct. It is always the case that when you set the sorting to lowest price, many offers disappear that are clearly lower in price. Then they disappear. Right now I’m looking for a snowboard for my child. It is almost impossible to find anything. No filter for length . The image is not sorted
Here now sorted by lowest price. The 30€ item is missing here
Why is that?

·2 years agoThat’s probably intentional by eBay so that the more expensive ones drop out, and it’s been that way for a long time. The search has been completely messed up for ages anyway.
