antique train tickets
Every now and then I browse the travel section in the train tickets. There could be a spontaneous trip in there sometime. But reality looks different. There I can bid on tickets from 2022 at full price. The best-before date often only becomes apparent when the pictured ticket is examined closely. I’d guess those are leftovers from when they’re relisted over and over. Can’t this be cleaned up somehow? Quite apart from the fact that the digital junk is being needlessly stored forever.

Hello @tusnelda131! We recently received your suggestion, which also concerns concert tickets and other tickets, through the community, and I’m happy to pass your request on to the responsible team.
One of the reasons we do not generally remove no-longer-valid tickets directly is that rare tickets in particular can still be valuable to collectors even after they’ve expired. So we would not only have to introduce the technical function that, for example, listings with tickets automatically end after the event date/travel date, but also update our guidelines for the Tickets category: "Items in the Tickets category may no longer be offered after the event date".
