How long does it take eBay to respond to a letter sent by post?
A while ago, I sent eBay a letter by post, in which I described my concern. So it was a physical letter and not contact via the online form.
Does anyone here have experience with how long eBay takes to respond in such cases?
I'm a bit unsure how much longer I should wait before reaching out again.

I strongly suspect that you won’t get any reply at all!
If you have a concern or questions, it would be best if you came here. Replies are given promptly here, and if needed there’s also an eBay staff member present whom we can bring in.
But first you should familiarize yourself with eBay’s terms and conditions!
For example, the following is not okay at all:
Updated shop policies:
Please note that payment must be made within 12 hours of submitting a price proposal. If payment is not made within this period, the order will be canceled, and the buyer may be excluded from further purchases.
There are legally valid purchase contracts for sales that you CANNOT override with such unlawful statements! That could still cause you significant problems!
Your completed (and maybe future) sales with exclusively NEW GOODS could also come back to bite you!

OP5 months agoMy inquiry has nothing to do with the 12-hour message in my shop. It's about something completely different.
I sent a letter in which I describe my problems and also announce legal action against eBay. I will take these steps if necessary.

But that doesn’t change the fact that your 12-hour deadline violates all regulations and is probably hardly sustainable legally either.
Just to put that in context: if you threaten someone with "legal action," you should first and foremost be on the legally safe side yourself! ! !
By the way, several previous statements here in the forum indicate that you’re unlikely to get much of a response.
If you set Ebay a deadline in your letter, I hope for your sake that you sent it by registered mail with return receipt - otherwise you’ll be waiting forever !
