Hello everyone, I run an online shop alongside my full-time job and every now and then these cool customers pop up who make completely insane claims. Back in the day I would just email this quickly at work and bam, it was sorted out.These days you have to go the phone route and that’s not possible. Unfortunately, I also find that the colleagues on the phone don’t really speak the language properly, but I’d rather keep my theory to myself. I’ve been using eBay for 10 years. Active online seller for 3 years. Unfortunately, it’s getting worse and worse because of customer service. When I see how the competition resolves problems with issues like this, that’s definitely something eBay should be doing too.Why do I, as a seller, have to accept every return and also cover the return shipping costs? Sure, the buyer can withdraw from the purchase, but that doesn’t work as simply as eBay makes it out to be.Customer orders, destroys the item, and returns it with the reason: "not as described"In 4 years I’ve had damages in the 4-digit range and eBay still supports that.I want a direct point of contact, someone I can reach by email or however, in proper German.
