I have the habit of opening my auctions and listings right after posting them and checking again for errors. Quite often I then see something that slipped past me during entry and preview. But I find it extremely ugly when, above the item description, it then says “Last updated on …”. Most of the time I delete the listing again and repost it in corrected form so that doesn’t happen. Is it really necessary to add the “Last updated” notice when there isn’t even a view, a watcher, and certainly no bid yet?I’m in favor of a grace period, e.g. that for changes made within 15 or 60 minutes after posting, no “Last updated” is added, or generally not if there are no views or watchers yet.
