The EU has once again devised a new nuisance, apparently with the aim of hindering international trade as thoroughly and permanently as possible sooner or later: the flat fee of 3 euros on shipments from abroad up to 150 euros, which is added on top of the import VAT. And this starts in July. But the sales platforms have so far been completely silent about this. The IOSS system from eBay & Co., where the import VAT is collected by eBay & Co. at the time of purchase, is now working quite well after some initial difficulties, so it would be desirable if the 3 euros were collected at the same time as well.
