DHL status not syncing with eBay - system error/API issue?!

Hi everyone & dear eBay admins,
there currently seems to be a serious issue with the interface (API) between DHL and eBay. Shipment statuses are not being transmitted to eBay, which leads to incorrect displays in the seller backend and – what is especially critical – payments being blocked without authorization.

This is not an isolated case or a normal delay. Other shipments that are still in transit are also receiving no status updates in the eBay backend, even though they are properly registered with DHL and are being transported. The overall status does switch to "Shipped", but the detailed tracking interface remains completely dead.

There are many other threads and posts describing the same error.
Please forward this error to the development and billing team with high priority. If the interface goes down, this must not lead to automatic payment holds lasting for weeks.
