For your information, my experience with Ebay, Ebay customer service, money being withheld. I have been a positive member here for over 15 years. On 02/11/25, sold coins for ___€. On 02/11/25, the buyer paid the money.On 03/11/25, I dropped off the insured package.On 04/11/25, the package arrived and it was shown on Ebay.On 08/11/25, the buyer left positive feedback for the purchase. A few days later my money was still being withheld, all the way until 04/12/25. HUH why? Then I called customer service and spoke with a nice, inexperienced lady. The lady tried to release my money manually, but that didn't work. The system is programmed that way and I have to wait until 04/12. She didn't know anything else either. Oh yes, that I would definitely get my money from 04/12 onward, which I found strange. Somebody must have programmed this system, and nobody could tell me why my money was being withheld for 4 weeks.What was done with the money for 4 weeks, speculated? That would be fine if you knew beforehand.I had assumed, as it says there, that my money would be released as soon as the purchase was confirmed by the buyer, but that was not the case. I was angry about that. Kind regards
