Last month I was able to pay four times with my VISA card. Now I’m getting the message: “Please correct your payment details if necessary or use another payment method.”

My card details are correct. I also have enough credit to pay for the item.

I also tried adding another card – Mastercard – but that doesn’t work either. I keep getting the message that I can’t pay.

What’s going on? Can you help me somehow? I haven’t been able to buy anything for over a week now.

You apparently aren't the only one with your problem. It's the same for me. Until Friday I could pay with my Visa card, which is valid until 2027. After that, no more. 2 calls to the hotline only resulted in: Maybe you swapped two digits ??

(I won't judge the competence, I never save my data and always enter it manually. If it were a digit swap, it would have worked at the latest on the second try)

I even talked to my bank, the card isn't blocked. Bought something else on the internet with the same card. "Oh wonder, it works." Only on Ebay it doesn't work anymore.

If you find a solution, will you share it then ?

I don't understand this, what is that supposed to mean? The cards are still valid for a few more years, they haven't expired, I use them every day, but it doesn't work on eBay. How can I fix this error?

I did it! My transaction with Google Pay was successful! So I tried Google Pay and the Wallet app and was able to buy the item I wanted. Finally! Thank you very much for your help, best regards.

I tried Google Pay for the first time and it worked. I’ll be using Google Pay from now on. But most importantly, I can buy the items I want without hesitation. Thank you again for your help.

Okay, if I use my VISA card, which I also used last month, I can’t pay for the item. I get the following error message:

“Please correct your payment details if necessary or use a different payment method.”

If I choose another Mastercard, the payment also fails and I receive the following error message:

“Your payment could not be completed. Please check your payment information or choose a different payment method.”

I would like to emphasize that each card has sufficient funds to complete the purchase without any problems. Any payment limits have been lifted by the bank, so each payment should work without any problems.

At present, however, I still cannot pay for an item with my cards despite having sufficient funds.

The bank assured me that everything is in order with my cards, that I have sufficient funds, and that no limits or blocks have been set up for online payments. It recommended that I contact eBay customer service so that the problem can be resolved.

I hope that this problem will soon be resolved to our mutual satisfaction and that I can continue to buy my favorite items without any problems.

I am writing to you again because the problem still has not been solved. Please help me! Today, too, I can use neither my VISA nor my Mastercard and have therefore missed out on some good offers. 😞

I am really desperate. Is there any solution? I think my payment will no longer be accepted if I perhaps enter GPay or PayPal, just like with credit cards.

Please help me! I want to be able to use my cards again without any problems, just like in February.

Are the VK based in Germany?

Yes, cookies and cache were cleared, but I’m still getting the message that I can’t complete the purchase. The sellers usually come from Europe.

Maybe you might consider whether PayPal is a payment option for you, @tomibrl-0 ?

For me, payment with PayPal always goes smoothly.
