My account was BLOCKED and €1,600 withheld after I followed the INSTRUCTIONS FROM EBAY SUPPORT | Payment processing on eBay

Hello everyone, I’m writing here from a SECOND ACCOUNT because my main account was LOCKED and I can NO LONGER POST OR REPLY. That means people with real problems can NO LONGER TALK ABOUT THEM, which I find extremely concerning. Here’s what happened:I sold a high-end luxury bag. The buyer received the item and left POSITIVE FEEDBACK. At that point, the funds were STILL LOCKED because eBay gives the buyer a deadline to report any issues. Shortly after, I received an email from eBay asking me to update my payment method. I was told that my previous card was no longer accepted and that I must add A CREDIT CARD FROM A PHYSICAL BANK IN MY COUNTRY. DEBIT CARDS or other payment methods are NOT ACCEPTED. I then reached out to the eBay Community. Two eBay staff members, selina_b@ebay and samantha@ebay, advised me to REMOVE AND REPLACE my bank account to “reset” the payment flow, and then add my original method again. I removed my original payout account, deleted all cards, and added a new bank account. IMMEDIATELY AFTER THAT, MY ACCOUNT WAS LOCKED. There was NO WARNING and NO EXPLANATION. The email said that eBay was HOLDING MY €1,600. To be CLEAR:I had NO RESTRICTIONS before this happened.The item was delivered, and the buyer left POSITIVE FEEDBACK.The funds were STILL LOCKED because the buyer’s review period was still running.After I FOLLOWED SUPPORT’S INSTRUCTIONS, my account was LOCKED and I was told that my money WOULD BE HELD. This is UNPROFESSIONAL and NOT ACCEPTABLE. Freezing funds after successful delivery and positive feedback, and then locking the seller’s account immediately after they follow support instructions, destroys any trust. €1,600 IS A VERY LARGE SUM FOR ME.My question to the community is very specific:HAS ANYONE HERE EVER CHALLENGED AN EBAY DECISION OUTSIDE OF EBAY, meaning through LEGAL ACTION, CONSUMER PROTECTION, or EU MEDIATION/ARBITRATION BODIES, and GOT THE BALANCE BACK?If so, through what route, with which authority, and what documents were required?I’m posting this to RAISE AWARENESS and to find a REAL WAY TO APPEAL.
