Hello!

I recently sold two items.

With one of them everything went normally and the money is ready for payout.

However, with another one, the shipment tracking is not being updated.

It still shows the package as shipped, even though it has already arrived at the buyer's and he has even already left a rating for me.

It was sent as usual with DHL. I also entered the correct tracking number.

When you track it, the package is also shown as "Delivered".

Item number is:

26-14323-87465

there are definitely more cases that fall under eBay buyer protection than just empty packages / envelopes. Here’s some bedtime reading on it:

I have the feeling eBay wants to force you to buy shipping labels through eBay so everything goes faster? That’s how I know it, at least.

Where do you get your information from, then? I’ve been creating my labels for a long time, generally NOT through eBay, and I have had no issues whatsoever with payouts or delayed payouts.

If it were as you claim, then a lot of sellers would not receive their payouts on time because a lot of sellers simply do not create their labels on eBay.

Maybe you should just spend a little more time reading and understanding in the community.

You currently have 3!!! ratings as a seller and are of course listed as a new seller! Then you sold items that are prone to complaints (even later ones). It’s easier to refund from parked funds than to collect the money back from you.

"If it were like you claim [...]" - I'd pay attention to the question mark at the end of the sentence, as for the "claim"! There are 11 reviews and a member since 2023.

there are 11 reviews in total, but only 3 as a seller within this year, as @perfect-sally already wrote.

That means you’re listed on Ebay as a new seller. And because of that, Ebay simply holds onto the payouts longer for buyer protection reasons.

The listings are crystal clear, so there can be no misunderstandings. A defect would at most be if the buyer opens the package and it contains nothing. But that is not the case.

It’s also completely irrelevant - after publishing I wanted to delete the post, but you have to request that, which I did. I didn’t want to start a discussion here at all, but since deleting takes time, it’s just there now.

As soon as the payout from eBay has been made, I will delete my account. What kind of portal is this anyway, where as a seller you can only leave positive feedback?!

It would be nice if a correction / update could be made here as well.

The shipment tracking on ebay. When I search with the tracking number of my listing at DHL, it says there that the item would have already arrived with the recipient last week. Unfortunately, it just hasn't been updated in the ebay system yet. If you could force the update in the ebay system yourself, that would save you a lot of trouble here.

Of course ebay doesn’t just let its system be interfered with unintentionally, but maybe there could have been some kind of “refresh” option, maybe something like F5/CTRL+F5 on Windows or something similar.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. Unfortunately, I can't get any further with customer service.
The package has arrived with the buyer. But eBay isn't updating. According to eBay, it hasn't been shipped yet.

Is the status still: "ship now"?

Did you buy the label through Ebay? Or create it separately through the shipping provider app?

If you created the label separately, you have to enter the tracking number manually:

in "Orders" ➡️ affected item➡️ click the small arrow next to "View purchase details", then click "Add tracking number". A window opens: there you can enter the tracking number and shipping provider.➡️click "Save and continue".

then the status will be updated.

Make sure the number is entered correctly, otherwise that won’t work either.
