When I klick on the refund button to allow a refund, nothing happens

I have to make a refund for an item payed through Paypal. I have received the item and marked it as such, but when i klick on the "Rückerstattung an Käufer veranlassen" it opens another window where I have to repeat the request, but when this botton is activated the page just refreshes and nothing else happens. My Paypal account is operational and with a valid creditcard from wich it can draw the amount. There seem no way of contacting E-bay. Has anyone encounted the same problem?

You can contact ebay directly. The address, both for paper and e-mail, is available on the webpage. Look at the bottom of the screen (of a computer), there you will find the link.

Still: You are confusing buyer and seller. The operation you mentioned has to be done by the seller.

Which Paypal do you have? de or com?

In all countries without an own local ebay-page an account needs to be opened on ebay.com.

You ignored the ebay-rules when opening your account on ebay.de.

So:

- check if Paypal and ebay do match

- close your de-account and open a com-account

- do so on a computer, the app does not work properly.

If the basic settings are incorrect, the automatic procedures are faulty.

And: It is very arrogant from you to expect the people on a local, public forum being able to write in English. Nobody here would write in German on the co.uk or com platform.

If you are using a cellphone: forget it. Cells and internet don't go together. Especially on ebay.

If not there might be a slight problem with the german "Rücknahmeprozess" and your danish membership which originally works with ebay.com amd paypal.com. So the hint to use the community on .co.uk (or even .com) was ok though.

Richtig, er hätte laut ebay-Regeln einen Account auf com eröffnen müssen.
Er hat aber einen auf de eröffnet, warum auch immer - und jetzt hakt es halt (nicht "hackt", das ist was anderes und findet in Küchen oder beim Metzger statt)

It seems though, that you are capable of undertstanding english. I assumed an acknowledged international language would do, apparently not.

This is a public forum not the ebay customer service.

You are confusing buyer (Käufer) and seller (Verkäufer).

Why are you concluding contracts without being able to understand the language?

Let me guess ... you are also working with a Smartphone instead of a decent computer?

Do two things:

1. Look for somebody fluent in German and let him help you

2. Switch off your phone and switch on your computer.

Please close your account on ebay.de and open one on ebay.com or ebay.co.uk, to solve the language problems.

Lieber Herr harrapsraeuemtauf. Mein Verständnis der Deuche Sprache ist, wen ich es sagen muss, herforagent. Wen ich mir nicht auf Deutsch ausgedrückt habe, ist weil ich mir erwartetet habe das ich zu einer erwachsener, ausgebildeter, internationaler und hilfsarmer Forum verwendet habe. Das ist weil E-bay, trotz höher gebühren, keine Hilfe bietet (derweil, will ich es vielleicht nicht mehr verwenden). Sie sind, in meiner optik, ein niedriger Mensch der seine zeit verwendet um andere Mitglieder zu erniedrigen ohne die geringste Ahnung, wehr Ich bin oder was für eine Apparatur ich verwende. In einfacher sprache Sie sind voreingenommen und wie alle voreingenommener Menschen haben Sie keine Ahnung von was Sie sagen. So, wen Ich es auf English ausdrücken muss:
Switch off your computer and switch on your brain.
