Why doesn't ebay recognize my working paypal account?

I have a functioning Paypal account. Why doesn't ebay recognize it?

It sends this Fehlermeldung when I try to upload my offer:
"Es scheint ein Problem mit diesem Angebot zu geben.
E-Mail-Adresse für PayPal - Die eingegebene E-Mail-Adresse ist nicht mit einem PayPal-Konto verknüpft. Sollten Sie noch kein PayPal-Konto haben, richten Sie mit dieser E-Mail-Adresse bitte eines ein, damit Ihre Käufer Sie bezahlen können."

My paypal account really didn't work for a long while, because my bank card expired and I didn't update it in paypal. My first trial of uploading my offer was when my paypal account was not functioning due to outdated bank card. I updated my bank card in paypal a few days ago, but ebay still does't recognize that I have a valid paypal account.

When I try to connect (verknüpfen) my paypal account to ebay, ebay sends me to the paypal registration page where I can't do anything to connect them.

What's wrong?
