Why ebay.de has no responsibility for items on web by money transfer?

I believe if you did are accepting any seller to sale anything by Paypal or wire transfer on YOUR web, Ebay.de have some responsibility. For paypal system, there is no any trouble, System Itself is solving fraudulent transaction. But by money wire transfer we need to trust seller and ebay.de investigation about them. The seller name, address, and ebay.de power company on the System. For a buyer what we can do if we face / deal with fraudulent seller. If ebay.de does not have any responsibilty for wire transfer issue theyhave not allowed the seller who try to sale anything on ebay.de like ebay.com (just paypal). What is the difference in between ebay.de and ebay.com on politics

Note: I always buy item by paypal from ebay. This time I have Realized thatthis seller did not have paypal option at payment, last step. I took my responsibility of aucton winner So I paid the money. I took my responsibility but not ebay.de. Is it normal?

here one can ask a question to other ebay members - users like you and me who try to solve problems and are using their own experiences to help others.

Your 'problem' can't be solved - neither here nor by the customer support.

In contrast to ebay.com or ebay.uk on ebay.de many sellers prefer to be paid by bank transfer because PayPal-payments are very costly. Also they don't want to take the risk to be betrayed by a buyer what can be done easily.

The other way round buyers are happy with PayPal - after a dispute it's easier to get the money back, sometimes too easy.

Anyway paying by bank transfer is very common in Germany and ebay can't interfere in such a transaction, they can't look into the buyer's or seller's bank account. They can't be taken responsible for an action they haven't been involved.

But in most cases such payments are running as smooth as it should - and defrauder you'll meet on both sides - buyers and sellers.

Only thing you can do is to regard to buy from business sellers or from those who offer PayPal.
