Good morning,

 

I have sold an item in perfect condition which had a small damage during transportation. The buyer claims an amount from me as a seller to replace the broken parts. I cannot understand how this can be my mistake. What should i do ? I have searched ebay rules and couldn't find a solution. Can someone help me ?

If you do nothing, then Paypal will decide something for you.
I think the customer has paid so and then the buyer has 180 days to make trouble for the seller.

 

This is just an idea and maybe help you.

dann müsstest du dich evtl. an dein Transportunternehmen wenden und den Schaden dort angeben?

Bei uns in Deutschland kann man das über die verschiedenen Versanddienstleister regeln sofern tatsächlich das Versandunternehmen ursächlich für die Beschädigung  der Ware verantwortlich ist.

Ansonsten gilt, dass du als Verkäufer für eine sichere und sorgfältige Verpackung der Ware zuständig bist.
