Seller trying to benefit from me and threatening to go to court

Hello,
I am based in Sweden and won a bid in Germany, and I didnt know that the seller is not shipping outside of Germany as he didnt say this in the description.
The seller needs to charge me extra shipping fees than normal (Normal shipping fees is 9 Euros confirmed on DHL website Germany and the seller needs to charge me 26 Euros) and I think he is trying to benefit out of the situation.
I asked him to cancel the order but he refused.
I offered to pay half the money of the item and he can keep the item and he also refused.
Should I transfer the full amount of the bid (without shipment fees) as I am binded to pay the won item or should I just wait for him to open a case of unpaid item against me?
I dont want to break any rules of Ebay or binding bids, as well as I dont want to be used by the seller.

The seller is threating me that he will go to small claims court on this issue and sue me and he is now not replying to my messages to reach a solution with him.
