Fraud: Money paid - item not sent. False invoice sent through email.

I bought a pair of Neumann microphones for 2210 euros on ebay.de two weeks ago.

The seller sent a false invoice to my email - not ebay message - an invoice very much looking like an authentic email from ebay. He requested me to pay to his bank account - he would not accept paypal. After the payment was made he have not sent me any tracking-ID and don't answer my messages. I opened an item-not-recieved-request on him - and he didn't reply to that either. 

I found out (too late) that the purchase is not covered by the ebay buyer protection.

The false invoice makes me believe that this is an experienced fraudster.

Is there anything I could do - or is my 2210 euros gone forever?

@swedish_jazz  You can file a complaint with the police against the account holder. The account holder has your money. Compare whether the name on your purchase email from ebay with the name of the account holder is identical.

@aftoncooper I have received a Order Confirmed email to my email - but that message don't include the sellers name - just his eBay-name. That email (like the invoice) can't be found in my My eBay messages. Perhaps that message also is a scam. The Item number is: 193893867830. I suppose I have to file a complaint to the German police (not the swedish police - I live in Sweden). I have tried to search for how I could file such a complaint but it is very difficult to search on websites in german - not knowing the language. Any hints on where to look would be very much appreciated.

@swedish_jazzHello! In the purchase email with "You have purchased the item" I always see the nickname and then the real name and address of the seller. Since ebay is based in Kleinmachnow, which is near Berlin, I would place an online ad with the Internetwache Berlin. @aftoncooper I have not received a Purchase email. I have only received a: You won with a EUR 2,210.00 bid! Next, make your payment. - only to my email - not to the eBay message inbox. And shortly after that I received the invoice. (also only email) So maybe he has not confirmed me as the winner - so I have not received any of the official eBay massages - only his emails. So I can't find his real name and adress anywhere. Thanks for the link to the police!

After a month without answering my messages (and not sending the microphones) the seller finally sent a message claiming that he has not put up the auction and don't know anything about what he calls my alleged buy. Either he is frauding or somebody else has hacked his eBay account. How to proceed from here? I have opened a item-not-received-request that will be automatically closed in two days. Is there a way to prolong the case - since it is not resolved at all.

@swedish_jazzHello! You can only go the way I have already written to you, to file charges against the one who has your money. But I would also give the nickname of the person where you allegedly bought. Why don't you just go to the police in Sweden, maybe they can pass it on to the German colleagues. I think it will be easier for you to try to settle it that way.

‎Someone has hacked his eBay account. There were no banknumber, so he hat to write to you. After a auction the winner gets normaly a mail from ebay. Please save all this things!
