Hello,

Please help me to clarify in which way eBay.de calculates sales fee if the Customer pays for the Item 122 EUR (100 EUR-price, 22 EUR - Slovenian VAT):

1) Sales fee = (100 EUR + 22%VAT)*0.09=10.98 EUR

2) Sales fee = 100 EUR*0.09=9 EUR

My account contains Slovenian VAT number.

I can only tell you how ebay calculates this for German commercial customers.

You have to pay 10% commission on the entire sales price, including postage.

Everything else you ask is beyond my knowledge. I can't know that.

Thank you. Just I thought, that eBay shouldn't take fee from VAT amount, because VAT money just transferred throw my account to TAX authorities. That's why I had some believe that eBay calculates fee just on price and delivery but not on VAT amount..

Now I have found a phrase in eBay FAQ: “If you have registered as a commercial seller and provided a VAT number for your eBay account, your fees will be calculated net, excluding VAT.” Probably it could mean, that eBay shouldn’t collect fee from VAT amount?

You have to ask ebay yourself. But if there's one thing I've learned from many answers here, it's that ebay's invoices are always correct.
