Unjustified unpaid item

Hello ebay community.  I bought an item from China.  Upon trying to pay by paypal 3 times, it didnt succeed, it didn``'t workl. I requested the seller to cancel the transaction because paying by paypal cannot succeed.  It may be because of covid paypal doesnt pay in China.  So, I requested the seller to cancel the transaction because of this reason.  They said they will send me email to cancel and I have to approve of the cancellation.  But no email came.  Now it is cancelled and recorded in my account because it's unpaid.  And that is a negative record for me.  I always pay at once .  It is unjustified.  What can I do to correct the unjustified recorded as unpaid item.  Thank you for your help in advance.
