Is wire transfer common in Germany?

Hello, first of all I apologise for writing I English, but I don’t speak German. 

I won an auction and didn’t notice the seller doesn’t accept PayPal, only wire transfer.

this seller doesn’t have anymore listings, but has a good feedback and his account is from 1999.

Is is a normal procedure payment procedure there?

sim, este é um método de pagamento comum em DE.
Só é necessário que os operadores SHOP ofereçam o PayPal.
Pague, portanto, simplesmente pela transferência internacional SEPA.
